Terms & Conditions

Our carts will be delivered and set up at the venue at your chosen time and will be collected at the end of your event.

Under no circumstances can anything such as banners or pictures be attached to our carts, unless discussed and agreed.

Placing an order with Island Sweet Dreams denoted that you have read, agreed and understood the terms and conditions listed below.

So please read our terms and conditions carefully.


Booking confirmations and processes

We can hold a selected date for you for 4 weeks only, after this time if a deposit has not been paid then i reverse the right to release the date.

All orders will be confirmed via email. Orders will be guaranteed once a deposit/payment has been received.



On the booking of the carts a £50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking, then full payment along with the fully refundable damage deposit of £50.00 4 weeks prior to your event. The fully refundable £50.00 deposit will be given back to you at the end of your hire period in cash upon the satisfactory collection of our cart.

If your booking is less than 4 weeks away the full payment and the £50.00 refundable damage deposit will have to be made prior to confirming your booking.

We accept payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

If full payment is not received 4 weeks before your event then we will contact you to confirm status of your order, no delivery will be made of our carts without full payment.

No refunds or credits will be given for any unused or returned stock.


Nut allergies

We are fully aware of the serious risk to people who are allergic to nuts. It is with regret that due to cross contamination within the sweet factories we are unable to guarantee that the products we supply have not come into contact with nuts or nut derivatives.

Any sweets provided by ourselves that knowingly contain nuts will be clearly labelled and stored away the best we can from other products. All of our sweets are handled with hygiene gloves which will be changed and deposed of if handling any sweets containing nuts. Our sweet trees are also made with hygiene gloves and sealed with a cellophane bag as soon as these have been made.

Our sweet trees come in cellophane bags with ribbons, bows and some small decoration items, these will be your responsibility to keep away from any small children.


Damage-Refundable deposit

A fully refundable damage deposit of £50.00 is required on the cart and glassware hire only, this is to ensure our carts return in the condition for which you hired them from us. The refundable deposit will be returned by cash to you at the end of your event upon our satisfactory collection of out carts.

Should any damages occur then the deposits are not refundable.

All damaged items remain the property of Island Sweet Dreams and must be returned.

If any items are lost or damaged then we reserve the right to ask for full payment for replacements.


Cancellation fees

Less than 4 weeks prior to your event – 50% of charge or £50 deposit whichever is greater.

Less than 2 weeks prior to your event – 100% of the charge is due.
